I heard about this show from JC on twitter yesterday. Had to subscribe right away.
I’ve really only recently discovered Steampunk, and most of what I’ve seen has been Anime, so very visual.
I’m excited to have it in this format now. Great show and great story to start with!

Looks like I have a new podcast to look forward to, and a new place to think up stories for. I already have a world setting that got sparked by this show. Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed the narration, and like the concept for the podcast. I’ll be interested in the up-coming stories. I’m afraid I did not really enjoy the first story. Jesus Christ Hutchins did a great job with the narration, but I just didn’t gel with the story. I’m a little confused by the title: Fabulous Junkyard – where was the junkyard, I may have missed mention to it or maybe i’m not getting a ’steampunk’ reference, but I was left wondering.
Looking forward to the next episode though.

This was a great story, I can’t wait for the next episode! Any chance of a good steampunk novel list showing up on this site?

Finally listened to this story today. At first I was bored. “The modern world is sooooo boring. Hey, steampunk! This is where I belong! Look at all of these other funny people who are just as nostalgic or deluded, hee hee.” I wasn’t grabbed. Then the concept of “cultural terrorists” showed up and I laughed out loud and stuck around for the rest of the story and enjoyed it. A good show all-in-all.

Now that was science fiction! Christ that was good! It makes Asimov’s ‘The Fun they Had’ look like a cliched pile of kitsch(not that its still not one of greatest SF stories ever written).
Steampod, we need more ‘casts like you!

This story, had it been a crossbow, would have pierced my heart with the final line… it was my father reading “Alice in Wonderland” that began my journey…
