Good stuff. As a quick suggestion for a nascent podcast, you may want to avoid multi-part stories after this for awhile until your audience is built up and comfortable with the style of the podcast. By the time part 2 comes out, I will have forgotten what transpired in part 1.

Only thing to add to the other comments: "Viscount" is pronounced "vy-count". Otherwise, good to hear this kind of stuff.

I've been enjoying the podcast so far, keep up the good work.

There's not a lot to comment on this bit of the story. Almost nothing happened, the characters were introduced, but that's about it. If I had my way i'd limit multi-episode stories to spanning 2 episodes max.

Also, as with other commentators, the audio errors while somewhat minor, jogged me out of the story telling.

Sweet. I've been wanting to check out Di Filippo's stuff for a long time now. It's good to have a freebie taste...

I wont say a lot on the story because it isn't over yet, but so far, not a lot has happened, just a lot of talking. Like I say, not knocking it, it isn't over yet. It is somewhat interesting so far.

The production, mmm... not so good. Not bad, but could be better. I don't mind a slip or or two in the reading, but there were several. All (or almost all) of them could have easily been fixed by cutting out the mistake. Most times the reader just reread the mistake. Simply chopping out the bad bits would have done wonders. Also, a good break between scene changes is really helpful, or better yet, a few second audio clip. I do a bit of recording myself, and I make many mistakes, so I certainly understand not reading it perfectly. The fact that he reread the bits means he knew the problems were there and actually cared to get it right.

I also agree with jddennis, put in some music, or at least a pause, between the story and promo.

The sound also seemed low, had to boost my volume up.

I hope all of this is taken as constructive feedback. I have high hopes for this podcast, so anything I point out I point it out with the best of intentions to help the program be better.

Cheers!

Not as good as Junkyard, but still fine! As for the production, I think I can forgive it if the show gets better in the coming episodes.

The story was good, but there were a lot of errors in the audio editing. I would have also liked to hear some bumper music between the ending of the story and the promo.
